Our three suites are being prepared for overnight guests. We are not yet confirming reservations, but you can ask about a future stay and share your preferred dates.

Three historic suites in an 1859 estate

Two one-bedroom, one-bath suites and one two-bedroom, one-bath suite are being prepared with antique furnishings. The Walter Place is at 300 W. Chulahoma Ave., Holly Springs, MS 38635, near Memphis and Oxford.

Included in your stay

  • Breakfast Included: Breakfast is provided each day of your stay. Enjoy it on the side porches.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available for overnight guests.
  • On-Site Parking: Parking is available on the gated property.
  • Arrival & Departure: Check-in is at 4:00 p.m.; check-out is at 10:00 a.m.

The estate is gated. All registered overnight guests can use the shared keypad at the rear entrance to the house. Each suite has a separate individual keypad; only guests registered to that suite may enter it.

Overnight guest access

  • Your Private Suite: Each suite has its own keypad entry for its registered guests. Other overnight guests do not have access to your room.
  • Downstairs Billiards Room: Gather in the shared downstairs pool-table room during your stay.
  • Tower Game Room: The small game room in the tower offers another place to spend time together.
  • Dining Room: Use the shared dining room for a quiet game of cards or conversation.
  • Side Porches & Coffee: The side porches are available throughout your stay. A coffee bar is located on a porch; breakfast is included each day.
  • Guest Swimming Pool: A swimming pool is available to overnight guests. This is separate from the refurbished pool below the spring, which is ornamental and not for swimming.
  • Gardens & Walking Trails: Overnight guests have access to the estate gardens and walking trails throughout their stay. Conflicting private events are not booked over a guest stay.

The coffee bar is on a side porch; please enjoy food and drinks there rather than in guest bedrooms. Colored drinks are not permitted anywhere inside the house. Guest refrigerators are not available on site; please plan accordingly.
